Restoring hope. Rebuilding lives. Strengthening families.
Every person deserves the chance to recover, rediscover their purpose, and build a future marked by stability, dignity, and hope.
"To create recovery-centered communities where individuals feel respected, supported, and empowered as they work toward rebuilding their lives with purpose and stability."
What We Stand For
Through collaboration with community organizations, treatment partners, mentors, and local resources, we create pathways toward lasting change.
Accountability
Structure and follow-through, every step of the way.
Community
No one rebuilds their life alone.
Purpose
Recovery is the beginning, not the finish line.
Legacy
Change that reaches beyond one life.
Committed to Service Legacy
Committed to Service Legacy (CTSL) was founded by Darryl Bowles and Shayla Hinton, Co-Founders, through a vision God placed on their hearts to restore hope, rebuild lives, and strengthen families. We believe every person deserves the opportunity to recover, rediscover their purpose, and build a future filled with stability, dignity, and hope.
Our passion for this work is deeply personal. Both of our families have experienced the effects of addiction and, by God's grace, have also witnessed the power of redemption. Those experiences didn't create the vision God did but they gave us compassion, understanding, and a heart for serving individuals who are working to rebuild their lives. They remind us every day that recovery is possible, families can be restored, and no story is beyond God's ability to redeem.
Throughout this journey, we have seen God's faithfulness at every step. From opening doors and connecting us with the right people to confirming this mission through countless opportunities, He has continually shown us that CTSL is part of a purpose much greater than ourselves. We are simply committed to being faithful stewards of the vision He has entrusted to us.
CTSL was founded in April 2025 and received its 501(c)(3) designation the same year. Our mission is centered on three areas of impact: recovery housing for individuals overcoming substance use disorders, reentry housing for individuals returning from incarceration, and rehousing support for individuals experiencing homelessness.
We believe stable housing is only the beginning. Our goal is to help individuals rebuild every area of their lives by providing accountability, life skills, workforce development, mentorship, and community support. We want to help residents regain the trust of their families, reconnect with their children and loved ones, establish financial stability, secure meaningful employment, and build lives marked by purpose and independence. We believe true recovery is about restoring hope, rebuilding families, and creating lasting change that impacts future generations.
As CTSL continues to grow, we remain committed to excellence by pursuing accreditation, building partnerships with treatment providers, employers, community organizations, and churches, and expanding resources that empower long-term success.
Our vision extends far beyond one home. We believe God is calling us to build a network of recovery and reentry homes, provide coaching and counseling services, develop workforce opportunities, and one day establish a treatment center that serves individuals and families throughout our communities.
Above all, CTSL exists to glorify God by loving people well, serving with integrity, and creating places where lives are transformed. Our prayer is that every person who walks through our doors experiences hope, healing, restoration, and the opportunity to reclaim their future, restore their families, and leave a legacy that changes generations.
